Custom Conforming Die

The ultimate die for high-detail in thin metal. A conforming die is a mating two part die in tool steel. The die both forms and coins the metal giving you the ability to get super high level detail in metal thicknesses from 28 gauge to 18 gauge. Maximum surface area in a 20 ton press should be around one square inch (simpler designs don't take as much pressure and can be slightly larger). Please specify desired metal alloy and gauge to aid in the design of this die. There does not need to be an offset for the metal thickness as long as the walls are no steeper than about 30 degrees.

Larger Dies for bigger tonnage presses will cost more. 

You must provide a 3D CAD drawing or a clean black and white drawing with both plan and multiple elevation views.

These dies are crafted in A2 tool steel and are precision hardened and tempered, giving you the best results possible and a lifetime of use (production of about 10,000 pieces is the industry standard for dies like this before redoing them).
